Kyoto Tachibana High School Band to participate in the Rose Parade next year / Kyoto, Japan
On 24 November, the Kyoto Tachibana High School brass band held a send-off event at the school’s Festival Hall for their participation in the world’s largest parade, the Rose Parade, held annually on 1 January in Pasadena, California, USA, to celebrate the New Year in 2025.
The band, which comprises 105 current students, has just won the gold prize in the high school and above division of the All Japan Marching Contest held in Osaka on 17 November. On stage, they performed about 10 songs, including ‘Sing Sing Sing’, which they will also perform in the main event.
