Pictures by Paul Miller on Tachibana practice at Anaheim Angel Stadium December 28, 2017 and on host family activities

Meeting our house guests unofficially after the practice at the stadium. Hot, sweaty and tired, but still with the Tachibana smile and the “peace” sign! (Marie, Airi, Sumire)

First breakfast with the girls on December 31

Zooming around in the golf car

Oooey Gooey Cheese Burgers & Fries at Red Robin

At Kennedy High School, getting photos done so they have a record of who went home with whom. Came here right from Bandfest, three very tired and hungry girls

Finally home, dinner cooking, checking out the Xmas stuff

Time to explore the neighborhood, and get “country”

Laundry time, clean uniforms for the Rose Parade

Ride home from Rose Parade, catching up on some sleep

  2. Paul, Thank you for sharing your photos of the band and your “roomies”. It’s nice to see the band in a much different light than when they in full uniform and performing.

    • Paul…
Thank you very much for sharing with us the photos of your house guests and of the entire band. They are beautiful young ladies whom I’m sure had a wonderful experience with you and your family and with their American Audiences! It had to have been an exhausting few days in America for all Tachibana members, but it seems like they handled it like the real troopers they are.
I noticed in one of your photos you’re caught both Tippi and Penguin in the same photo.
It’s obvious you and your wife loved hosting your “Roomies.” It is so nice that they keep in touch with you.
Tachibana has proven many times they are truly great Ambassadors not only for their school and community but for all of Japan!
I’m looking forward to your next “Instalment” of photos and that video of your “Roomies.”

      Wishing you the best!

Thank you for the new batch of pictures. You know that feeling when you’re waiting for the next episode of your favorite television show and then it finally comes out? It’s even better than that. This definitely made my day. I especially like the picture of your ride home from the Rose Parade. This gives us a glimpse of what happens after a performance. Poor girls, they must’ve been very exhausted after jitterbugging 5.5 miles. I’d be in a coma after hitting 3 miles doing what they were doing. I’d appreciate it if you could send me the clip (zaoalthor@gmail.com)

  4. Paul…. If you decide to share or not share the pictures I sent you, it’s o.k. I noticed that in all the pictures with your three visitors, they all seem to be smiling. Thanks

  6. Thank you Paul: When is the next installment? It did look like the sun was bothering some of the band. Your room mates looks very happen to see you all. They had the expression, “take us away from all this.” hehehe
