  1. I believe that the version of “SHINE” recorded for the music video is not the version that is on the “Aporon Has Bloomed” CD. I presume another version of it was recorded, since on the CD track the drums seem to be louder than the video version, and also, Rizumu was no longer the bassist, so a new recording was made since Rina Hoshino was playing bass on the album.

  3. Cover for the single “First Kiss,” Aporon’s first single (released April 2015). The song was presumably re-recorded twice by Yuina Mita, appearing on her solo albums “Positive Recipes For A Happy Girl” (released December 2015), and “Here” (released July 2017).

  4. Aporon fans are still out there – at Yuina Mita’s May 12th show at Sound Creek Doppo, note the gray-haired gentleman in the background holding up a green Aporon towel (which includes the quote “There is always light behind the clouds,” from Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women”).

  5. The original line up of Aporon, March 2013 – October 2014. Yuina Mita on drums/vocal/keyboard, Rie on lead vocal, Fumin on bass, Yuto Ito on guitar (he later joined the Yuina Mita band after she became a solo artist in 2016). This version of Aporon apparently did record, they released a 5-song CD sometime in 2013.

  6. On the CD’s release date and Yuina’s birthday (a Monday), Aporon played a show at Shibuya on the 7th floor. Rina played bass. The show started at 12:30 and ran for two hours (it was a national holiday that day).

Ad promoting Aporon’s CD as well as the November 23rd live show (note mention of the band’s three singles at the bottom). It appears there was also a live stream. Advance tickets were 3000 yen, 3300 yen on the day of the show (tickets included one drink).

Also, Ryoko was doing double duty – not only did she play in Aporon, she also led her own band, Tokyo Sunny Spot, which played her own original songs.

  7. The “SHINE” video was shot in December 2014 as an introduction to the new line up of the band (it had previously been a quartet with three other members). As can be seen in the video, the bassist is Rizumu (not Rina Hoshino), the original bassist of the new trio line up, and who left the band in April 2015.
