Tachibana wins National Gold for a record-breaking fourth consecutive year!

The National Finals of the 37th All Japan Marching Contest held at Ōsaka-jō Hall on November 17, 2024 concluded into a complete Tachibana triumph: they won the fourth successive National Gold Award! Congratulations to the band!

Official results are here, in Japanese. Another result list is here, in Japanese.

The band has never before achieved four Golds in a row at the National Finals. The closest they have ever been was in 1996-1998 when they won three times the “Good sound award” which could be considered as equivalent to a “Gold” today. Click here for the Contest track record of the band.

In the same Contest Pink Devils won Bronze. Donguriband won Silver which is their best result so far.

  3. What an incredible result
To win the championship four in a row and with different players in their respective positions, is a mark of the team effort every year and the strength of the school in their support. The belief that drives through the band is second to none. Keep that strength and belief going , when you go to Pasadena for the Rose Parade and really enjoy the opportunity to share your success.
The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

    • Yes, without sacrifice and team work. no marching band is very good. But without the dedication and camaraderie of the Orange Devils, winning one would be difficult, winning four times in a row would be impossible. Bravo, from Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
