  1. Well this is what the Wikipedia entry for the 2021 Cannes Film Festival is saying about ‘Belle’
“Belle (竜とそばかすの姫, Belle: Ryū to Sobakasu no Hime, literally “Belle: The Dragon and Freckled Princess”) is a 2021 Japanese animated science fiction fantasy film written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and produced by Studio Chizu. The film premiered on July 15, 2021 at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival,[1] where it was well-received by critics with a standing ovation that lasted 14 minutes.[2] It was theatrically released in Japan on July 16, 2021.”

“Belle will be released in Japanese theaters on July 16 under the title Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime (literally translated “The Dragon and the Princess of Freckles”). Anime distributor GKIDS licensed the movie in North America and has already announced plans to give it a theatrical release sometime next winter.”

  2. Hi from the UK. Absolutely fantastic news. The band goes from strength to strength. How can the band beat and maintain this very popular level? But watching the band growing over the last couple of years, I have confidence that they will excel and rise to greater heights. All the past members of the band and staff MUST be proud that they were part of that rise to fame. I can only imagine the pride felt by the parents of their children achieving so much prestige. BZ to everyone involved. FORWARD AND ONWARD!

  3. Fantastic, I’m looking forward to it. After previously playing in a great Avex/MV production from 2019 with Kalen Anzai, the band is now playing in an international film production at the International Film Festival in Cannes, France. I hope it will be a great success. The Tachibana dream continues. I love you all… George Heemskerk, The Netherlands
